Brentwood Academy celebrated the 400th varsity football victory with the win over John Paul II high school.  The 400th win comes during the school’s 40th anniversary.

 

The BA Dads will meet for breakfast this Saturday and will hear from a faculty panel regarding ideas that will help children succeed.  The group meets monthly for breakfasts and also hosts “coffee stops” each Friday morning on campus for dads.

 

The new Duncan Bell Tower contains an electronic carillon which is programmed to play chimes, hymns and the Brentwood Academy alma mater.

 

Brentwood Academy will serve as a “water station” during the October 10 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  Ten thousand runners are expected for the race which will wind through Brentwood.  BA parents Tracie and Brian Shelby have been chosen survivor and co-survivor race chairs.

 

Upper school students are challenging each other in a clothing drive for ThriftSmart in Franklin.  Students are asked to bring clothing items, gently used shoes and accessories to grade level drop off places in the upper school.  Final day for bringing in donations is Friday, October 2.
