		<title>Thursday, March 18</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Congratulations to the four members of the Brentwood Academy forensics team who have qualified for the National Tournament this June in Kansas City.  Qualifiers included Laura Burgin in dramatic interpretation, Evan Ford in original oratory and Sarah Keaggy and Davis Denny in duo interpretation.  The forensics team is coached by Joanna Franzke and Rian Hubbard.

		<description><![CDATA[At Career Day, upper school students had the opportunity to hear from 36 alumni and friends representing a wide variety of occupations.  Keynote speaker for the day was Swannee Williams Sexton, a retired professor of business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.  Sexton is a BA alumna.

		<title>Monday, March 15</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Members of the Brentwood Academy choir participated in a benefit concert at Riverside Chapel in Nashville.  The concert raised over $10,000 for earthquake relief in Haiti.  Students Alyssa Bastien, Justin Anderson, Justina Jones, Lizzy Nichols, and Claire Pakis opened the concert singing “Hallelujah, Sing Praises To Thee.”  The choir is directed by faculty member Gale [...]]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[BA Dads will meet on campus for their monthly breakfast meeting tomorrow and will hear nationally-syndicated talk show host Phil Valentine as their speaker.  BA Dads also gather each Friday morning for a &#8220;coffee stop,&#8221; which is a fellowship time.

		<description><![CDATA[The 20th Eagle Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, April 26, at Hillwood Country Club.  Both morning and afternoon scrambles are planned and the tournament will be chaired by BA parents Mark Graham and Drew Luna.

		<description><![CDATA[A parent seminar entitled “The Back Door to Your Teen&#8217;s Heart” will be held tonight for BA parents.  Presented by Daystar Counseling Ministries, the seminar will offer insights for parents dealing with teenage issues and will be led by Melissa Trevathan and her staff.   The 7:00 PM meeting will be in the seventh grade den.
